PSC ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Dear Dr. Strazzabosco,

I would like to thank you once again for participating in our sixth annual conference for PSC Partners Seeking a Cure. All of the speaker presentations were thoughtfully prepared with our audience in mind, so that our members were able to absorb an >>

amazing amount of new medical information. We truly appreciate the time that you took out of your busy schedule to share your expertise and advice with all of us.

I’d like to quote one of our members Rachel Gomel, who just sent me a beautiful description of why this year’s conference was so special, thanks to all of you.
“This time I felt something new had happened at the conference. I felt that the physicians were not only a super harmonious team who obviously enjoyed working and building together, but also that they embraced….the audience as their equal, honestly, kindly, and at moments, even bravely. In our conferences, I feel strength from the attendees and am thankful for the information I gain from the physicians. This time, I felt equally empowered by our PSC family as I did by the medical team whose readiness to embrace us was most heartwarming. It is rare to see physicians treating their patients (and caregivers) as their equals. There seemed to be a concerted effort on their part to be one with us and one of us. It was liberating to feel the current that was being transferred back and forth between the audience and the physicians.”
Thank you for your excellent presentations to our group. Don and I enjoyed your help in planning our conference with us.
I hope that we can stay in touch in the future. If we can be of help to your PSC patients, please refer them to our website (www.pscpartners.org ) or have them write to me directly at contactus@pscpartners.org. If you have a future research project where you need PSC volunteers, please let me know. Feel free to send us a qualifying grant proposal (http://www.pscpartners.org/apply ) .
Thank you for giving us prior permission to post your PowerPoint presentation on our website. I know that you had mentioned that there were some unpublished slides on your presentation that we should not include. Would you have time to delete those slides and then send us your slides that we can post on our website? Please send the edited presentation to Arne, our webmaster, at stonehollowmn@tds.net
Thank you again for your role in making our conference a huge success!

Warmest regards,
